The Kingdom of Armello is as dangerous as it is beautiful. This does not mean that the game bugged or that you didn't participate enough- it's just luck. Keep in mind that even if you are active throughout the entire match, the drop rate is not 100%, so rarely you may not earn any drop. Idling through or skipping your turns continuously for the sake of having the match end earlier or without having to put effort in to playing will greatly lower your chance for a drop in the match, and can even result in the loss of your account's ability to play in public matches in the future if you continuously do this. Leaving before it finishes or disconnecting will not earn you a drop. You don't have to win a match to get a drop, you just need to have played through the whole match. After a match is finished, participants can earn a chest containing a dice from the currently active collection. 
Chests can also be traded or purchased/sold through the Steam Marketplace. To get dice from the current active collection, you must first obtain a chest earned from participating in public online multiplayer matches.
All of the dice collections listed here will continue to be cycled in and out of the game though, and are still obtainable!*** ***This guide contains all current dice as of July 13th 2022, which marked the final update of Armello by the developers who also announced no new skins would be added to the game from this point on.
